The CCI SCF look up has been replaced by the Postal Facility Lookup. The Postal Facility Lookup allows you to find any post office in the U.S. including SCF (Sectional Center Facility), BMC (Bulk Mail Center), AADC, and DDU (Destination Delivery Unit).

An SCF is a post office facility that processes mail for one or more 3-digit ZIP code areas.  Dropping your mail at the appropriate SCF is a great way to control postage costs.  Drop shipment to SCF and other USPS facilities is one of many money saving services offered by CCI.

A Sectional Center Facility (SCF) is a USPS facility that sorts, handles, and disperses all mail destined for any post office within the geographic area defined by a 3 digit ZIP code. An SCF is usually identified by the 3-digit (first 3 digits of a 5-digit ZIP code) it serves. Many SCF s supply more than one 3-digit area. There are over 450 SCF offices around the country.

Drop shipment to SCF and other facilities is a service available here at CCI to further discount your postage. Many mailers fight rising postage costs by arranging to have there mail delivered to the SCF instead of the local acceptance unit. Shipping your mail to the SCF allows for the SCF entry point discount which further lowers your postage rates. All mail entered at the appropriate SCF saves on average 2 to 3 cents per mail piece.

A full-service lettershop like CCI will be able to save you an additional .02 to .03 on each piece you mail by packing your mail for delivery to the SCF and arranging the shipment of those pieces to the appropriate SCF.
